Safety Information

Assembly & Setup

  3. Connect battery: Attach red (+) then black (-) terminals.
  4. Add engine oil: Use SAE 30 (approx. 1.5 quarts).
  5. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).
  6. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 14 PSI (front) and 10 PSI (rear).

Cutting Deck Operation

Engage deck only when engine is at full throttle.

  2. Engage PTO: Push switch forward while throttle is at FAST.
  3. Mow in overlapping passes for even cut.
  4. Disengage PTO when crossing driveways or obstacles.
  5. For bagging: Install collection bag and ensure chute is closed.
  6. For mulching: Install mulch plug and close side discharge.

Tip: Mow when grass is dry for best results. Keep deck clean of grass buildup.
