Starting and Operating

Starting Procedure:

  1. Ensure transmission is in NEUTRAL (green N indicator on display).
  2. Turn fuel valve to ON position.
  3. Turn key switch to ON position.
  4. Pull choke knob (if engine is cold).
  5. Press electric start button (or use kickstarter).
  6. Allow engine to warm up for 1-2 minutes before riding.

Riding Tips: Use lower gears for technical terrain. Avoid prolonged high RPM operation during break-in period (first 10 hours).

Routine Maintenance

Follow maintenance schedule for optimal performance and longevity.

IntervalTask
After every rideClean air filter, check tire pressure, clean chain
10 hoursChange engine oil, check valve clearance, inspect brakes
30 hoursReplace spark plug, clean carburetor, check suspension
50 hoursChange coolant, inspect wheel bearings, replace oil filter
100 hoursReplace piston and rings, inspect clutch plates

Note: Maintenance intervals may vary based on riding conditions.

Fuel and Lubrication

Fuel Mixture: Use premium unleaded gasoline (95 RON) mixed with high-quality 2-stroke oil at a ratio of 60:1 for modern synthetic oils, or as recommended by oil manufacturer.

Engine Oil: Use SAE 10W-50 synthetic motorcycle oil. Capacity: 0.7 liters (0.74 quarts). Change oil every 10 operating hours.

Coolant: Use ethylene glycol-based antifreeze mixed 50/50 with distilled water. Capacity: 0.9 liters (0.95 quarts).

CAUTION! Never use automotive oil in 2-stroke fuel mixture. Always mix fuel in a separate container before adding to tank.

Suspension Adjustment

WP suspension components are adjustable for various riding conditions and rider weight.

  1. Front Fork: Adjust compression and rebound damping via clickers on top of fork legs. Standard setting: 20 clicks out from full hard.
  2. Rear Shock: Adjust preload via collar on shock spring. Adjust high/low speed compression and rebound damping via clickers.
  3. Sag: Set static sag to 35-40mm; rider sag to 105-110mm.

Tip: Make small adjustments (2-3 clicks at a time) and test ride after each change.

Storage and Winterization

Proper storage prevents damage during extended periods of non-use.

  1. Clean motorcycle thoroughly.
  2. Add fuel stabilizer to full fuel tank and run engine for 5 minutes.
  3. Change engine oil and filter.
  4. Remove spark plug and add teaspoon of oil to cylinder; turn engine over slowly.
  5. Inflate tires to maximum pressure and elevate motorcycle off ground.
  6. Disconnect battery and store in cool, dry place.
  7. Cover motorcycle with breathable cover.

Safety Information

Always wear appropriate safety gear: DOT-approved helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, and protective clothing.
