Riding Lawn Tractor

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench set
  • Socket set (3/8" drive)
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Torque wrench
  • Pliers
  • Jack and jack stands

Step-by-Step Assembly

  1. Uncrate and Inspect: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect for shipping damage. Check all parts against packing list.
  2. Install Steering Wheel: Align steering wheel splines and secure with provided nut. Torque to 30-35 ft-lbs.
  3. Attach Seat: Position seat on mounting brackets and secure with provided bolts and washers.
  4. Install Battery: Connect positive cable first (red), then negative cable (black). Apply anti-corrosion grease to terminals.
  5. Add Engine Oil: Fill engine with SAE 10W-30 oil to proper level on dipstick (approximately 1.5 quarts).
  6. Add Fuel: Fill fuel tank with fresh unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Add fuel stabilizer if storing.
  7. Check Tire Pressure: Inflate front tires to 14 PSI, rear tires to 10 PSI.
  8. Initial Start-up: Engage parking brake, place in neutral, and start engine. Allow to warm up before operation.

Troubleshooting
