Safety Information

  1. Clear mowing area of debris, rocks, and toys before operation.
  2. Never allow children or untrained persons to operate.
  3. Do not mow on slopes greater than 15 degrees.

WARNING! Gasoline is flammable; refuel outdoors only when engine is cool. Do not smoke near fuel.

Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Attach steering wheel: Align and secure with provided hardware.
  2. Install seat: Place on seat plate and secure with bolts.
  3. Connect battery: Attach red (+) then black (-) cables.
  4. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 14 PSI (front) and 10 PSI (rear).
  5. Add engine oil: Use SAE 30 (approx. 2 quarts) to full mark on dipstick.
  6. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane minimum).

CAUTION! Ensure all bolts are tightened securely. Test brakes and controls before first use.

Starting Procedure:

  1. Set parking brake.
  2. Move PTO switch to OFF.
  3. Set throttle to FAST.
  4. Turn ignition key to START; release when engine starts.
  5. Allow engine to warm up 1-2 minutes.

Driving: Release parking brake. Press forward pedal to move forward; reverse pedal to back up. Use brake pedal to stop.

Cutting Deck Operation

Engage mower blades only when ready to cut.

  1. Adjust cutting height: Use lever beside seat to desired position.
  2. Engage PTO: Move switch to ON while throttle is at FAST.
  3. Begin mowing: Drive at steady pace; overlap passes slightly.
  4. Disengage PTO: Move switch to OFF when finished cutting.

Tip: Sharpen blades every 25 hours for clean cuts. Check deck level periodically.
