Assembly & Setup

Unpack and inspect all parts. Assembly requires basic tools.

  1. Install steering levers: Attach to control panel with provided hardware.
  2. Attach seat: Mount seat onto frame using bolts and washers.
  3. Install battery: Connect red (+) then black (-) terminals.
  4. Add engine oil: Use SAE 30 or 10W-30; fill to dipstick mark.
  5. Add fuel: Use fresh unleaded gasoline (87 octane or higher).
  6. Check tire pressure: Inflate to 14 PSI (front) and 10 PSI (rear).

WARNING! Mower is heavy; use assistance during assembly. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.

First-Time Operation

Perform pre-operation checks before starting engine.

  1. Check oil level: Ensure oil is at full mark on dipstick.
  2. Check fuel level: Fill tank with fresh unleaded gasoline.
  3. Inspect mower deck: Remove any debris or packing materials.
  4. Adjust seat position: Set for comfortable reach to controls.

Controls and Settings

Steering Levers: Left lever controls left wheel; right lever controls right wheel. Move both forward to go straight.

Ignition Switch: OFF, RUN, START positions.

Parking Brake: Engage before starting engine; disengage to drive.

PTO Switch: Engages/disengages mower blades.

Cutting Height Lever: Adjust by moving lever to desired position (1-6).

Throttle Control: Set to FAST position for mowing.

Mowing Operation

For best results, mow when grass is dry.

  1. Start engine: Sit on seat, engage parking brake, turn key.
  2. Disengage parking brake: Pull lever upward.
  3. Engage blades: Move PTO switch to ON position.
  4. Begin mowing: Slowly move steering levers forward.
  5. Make turns: Move one lever forward, other neutral or reverse for zero-turn.
  6. Adjust speed: Lever position controls speed; further forward = faster.
  7. Change cutting height: Stop mower, adjust lever, resume.
  8. Shut down: Disengage PTO, engage parking brake, turn key to OFF.
